It was a beautiful fall day. I did get a few good shots of some butterflies. The lady bugs are plentiful this year. They are swarming like they did a few years ago. This afternoon I was sitting outside reading and they were everywhere.

Last Days Camping
The rains finally stopped Friday afternoon and brought with it cooler temperatures. I had a fire pretty much all day on Saturday. It was breezy and cool for most of the day. This is the weekend that we normally do our family camping trip, so glad we did it last week. Me and Buddy took a good long walk and I read most of the day. Sunday morning wasn't as cool, so I sat out and read. Buddy did some cleaning on the camper. We got home around 3 yesterday :( Got the camper all unloaded for the season. So until next year camping days are over.

Rainy Friday
It has rained all day today, but that makes for a great inside reading and crocheting day. Buddy came up yesterday afternoon and moved me over to my next spot. I can't complain about the weather because it has been perfect, and a rainy day gave me a chance to straighten shelves up in the camper and go to Wally World. Buddy will be back this afternoon when he gets off work. These pics are from last nights sunset.

Me and Lexie Camping
This was a pic I took Monday morning. Just thought it was a good pic of the fog lifting. To really appreciate it double click on it and it will be enlarged. I know it don't look like it but that is the lake and fishermen getting ready to fish.
I know this is blurry but it was at 5:30 in the morning and i could hardly see it myself, and just grabbed my camera and didn't know what setting it was on,but it was a pretty good size doe in my backyard here at the campground.
Tiny Sailboat going by (sorry had the camera on the wrong setting)
Just showing you what a beautiful day it was
This is the view from inside my camper looking toward the back. The leaves on the right of the tree are a bit confused.
Pic from my front door
Duck watching the sun go down

End of a great day
Buddy had to go back to work Monday, so it has just been me and Lexie. We have walked and walked. I think she is pretty tuckered out. I don't always make her walk with me especially when I'm on my power walks. The rest of the time I read and crochet. This morning the Space Station flew over at 6:30 just barely getting daylight but you could see it good. Lasted 6 minutes. Just can't get tired of this kind of life. I guess I must have some gypsy in me somewhere. The weather has been great, I think tomorrow is suppose to be nice too, maybe rain on Friday. That will be a good housekeeping day and Walmart run. I have had some really nice neighbors while I've been up here this week. I enjoyed our talks and Gail showed me her jewelry and scrapebooking she is working on.

Great Family Weekend
Maggie and Chelsea working on their pumpkins. It was so good to have them join us this year, along with Marty and William.
This is the 3rd post about our weekend, so you need to go down a couple of posts and work your way back up. Sat. and Sun were absolutely beautiful days. This by far has been the best weather we have had on our Fall Trip. Saturday started out of course by eating a big breakfast. We had the works. Then by the time we were through with that it was time to work on lunch. I made Taco Soup, Spinach Dip, Cheese Dip and Haystack Cookies. The kids went to the playground. The rest of the gang watched the Vandy game :( and played corn hole & Ladder Golf. Then it was time for the pumpkin carving. While they were doing that I made Chocolate Chip Cookies. By then it was time to start dinner. Tony did the baked potatoes in the fire pit. Sissy fixed white beans. I did green beans. The guys grilled steaks & chicken. After eating some played games and the rest sat around the fire.
Sunday morning started out again with big breakfast, same as Saturday pretty much but also had pancakes. Then it was time for the big event. Trevor got his first haircut by his Aunt Demi. He did great. He was eating chocolate chips and gummy worms, so as long as he had food, he was happy. Demi you did a great job. After the haircut, we walked down to the marina to feed the fish. They are really big carp. The rest of the gang were packing up and getting ready to leave. We just sat around pretty much all day watched the Titans and the race. I hated to see everyone leave but I'm sure going to enjoy this week up here. Looks like the weather will be pretty good until end of the week, so I should get lots of walks in. I will be here until next Sunday. :) So until next year, we had another GREAT FALL FAMILY FILLED WEEKEND I'm sure Kristin, Jamie and Sissy will have more pics on their blogs so check them out too.
