Sands Point Light
Check out the tree growing on a rock
Canyon Falls
Marquette Harbor Light Station
A Fresnal Lens from lighthouse
Fresnal Lens from a lighthouse
Wish someone would let me know what kind of tree this is
Sand Point Light Station in Escabana, MI
Peninsula Point Light (there was a house originally surrounding it but it burnt down)
Manistique Water Tower
Manistique Breakwater Light (Not a good pic the sun was hitting it at wrong angle, it is a bright red lighthouse)
Today we left Houghton, MI and went to Marquette. We saw a lighthouse and waterfall along the way. Again the waterfalls are not impressive, as it has been terribly dry up here. We ate lunch at Marquette and then went to a lighthouse and museum. From there to Escanaba (saw another 2 lights) then to where we are tonite, Manistique, MI. The sun is about to set so going to go sit on the beach and watch. It is real hazy today so probably won't have any good pics of the sunset. Tomorrow we will be at Mackinac City. Staying there for 2 nights. The pony needs a little down time. We have driven 1,517 miles so far. I know this isn't the way we were planning on going but all our trips are subject to change at anytime.

Wow! It really looks beautiful up there. Maybe someday I can talk Lee in to taking me to some neat places! Being an old Navy guy though, he's pretty content with just staying at home.
Pretty neat that the tree can grow on that rock!
