I have a bit of catching up to do with my blog. I have just gotten so lazy with keeping it up, since Facebook came along. First there was Trevor's 5th birthday party. He wanted a fishing cake and a party at the lake. So he had a really cute fishing cake and then.......
COLD!!!! But he still has the cute smile on him even though he was so cold. They had a great time.
Last week was Mother's Day and what a better way to spend it, but with my mother and daughter and grandkids. After church Buddy took the camper up and set it up and mom followed me in her camper. We got all set up and had supper. Buddy had to leave Monday morning early to get back to work and me and mom had a great day of just sitting around and talking and taking walks. Kristin came up after the kids got out of school. Mom, Kristin and the kids took an evening cruise on the paddleboat. The next morning we woke up to some visitors outside the camper. There were................
a couple of mallards that would hang out and Shelby decided their names should be John Boy and Elizabeth. I didn't know it until mom told me, that Shelby used to sit with dad and they watched the Walton's all the time. She knew all of the characters on the show. A little later in the day it was time to..
fish for a while. But this is not your most patient fisherman, so that didn't last long. Back at the camper Mitchell decided he needed to try his knack at photography so he snapped a picture of...........
the four generation of women out of the Kidd family. We didn't get to set long, because it was off to the marina to feed the...........
fish. There are some huge carp in there and Mitchell was trying to hand feed them. That wasn't working so they just started throwing...............
the popcorn in the water. After the fish were full, it had started to warm up so it was off to..........
the beach to swim. Not exactly white sands of Panama City, but it works for them. They didn't have any other kids to play with, as most are still in school, but they had fun and even took a little time for...
some poses. Don't you just love that toothless grin? Mitchell wasn't the only one to get in on the act...
Miss Shelby had to pose a bit too. Wednesday afternoon Mom, Kristin and the kids had to go home and all that was left was me and my...........
Hummingbird friends, birds, squirrels, ducks, deer, rabbits and my dogs. Thursday afternoon I drove back to Lebanon for the kids........
graduation and school program. Mitchell's class came out first and they all said their parts and then it was time for......
Trevor's class. He said his part good too and he just cracks me up with those hands always in his pocket. After they were through it was time for..........
Shelby's class. We were all holding our breath to see what she would do, but she did terrific. After all the classes performed, it was time for the big moment............
Graduation. Mitchell walked down the aisle so proper and stood in line. While they were walking in the announcer was telling what they wanted to be when they grew up and Mitchell is going to be a.....
PREACHER!!!!!
Trevor walked in next, trying to figure out why he can't put his hands in his pocket. He did great too and he wants to be a.....
RACE CAR DRIVER!!!!
We are proud of you Mitchell!!!!!
