Tonight along with a dear friend of mine, Cindy Holland, we gave a small dinner party for some very dear senior friends of ours. My Mom & Dad, David and Roma Wharton, Wyma & Marjorie Casteel. Buddy and Bubba (Cindy's Husband) were our servers. Thanks guys, you did a great job. We were suppose to have done this last night, but the weather wasn't looking so good, so we postponed until tonight. We tried to make it a little extra special for them, and I think they really enjoyed themselves. The menu was Appetizer: Shrimp Cocktail in Martini Glasses. Soup: Spinach 3 Cheese Tortellini. Salad: Spring Mix Greens, English Cucumber, Chive Cream Cheese Stuffed Tomato, with Cindy's Special House Dressing. Entree: Beef Tenderloin with Au Jus sauce and Horseradish sauce, Twice Baked Potato, Green Beans. Dessert: Chocolate Mousse Cake (Made by Cindy) After they were through eating, Buddy went in and asked them if they enjoyed their meal. They said they did. Then trying to keep from laughing he told them the real reason we invited them to come to eat tonight, was to see if they would invest in our new restaurant. It was pretty funny. It has been a running joke at the church that Me and Cindy need open a catering service. It was so much fun and thanks again Cindy. Love you, girlfriend.

Everything looks oh so Yummy! Maybe someday us normal people will be special enough to get a meal like that! J/K We really appreciate the meals every Thursday night, even if it is just Mexican or breakfast! :0)
That is really neat and I doubt you will get a meal like that KK! Chelsea does want some of the 3 cheese tortel? soup. Email me the recipe or better yet you can just make her some!

That all looked amazing....Maybe one day us special people you know those ladies who carried your bright, cute, smart, handsome, grandsons can get a dessert like that....Right Kristin...It all looked yummy...yall did a wonderful job
