We had a great 4th of July. John, Kristin, Mitchell & Shelby were here most of the day. Craig, Jamie, Nolen & Trevor came later in the day. They had been at the lake with Jamie's side of the family. David & D came by also to swim and eat. We had your basic 4th meal of burgers, chicken wings & chips. The kids are all doing so good in the pool this year. Hopefully they will all know how to swim by next year. That would make me feel a lot better.

turned flips.
Shelby posed at the steps, and.....
Made faces, and......
showed us her Daddy's smile.
Mitchell went flying high, while.......
Shelby played with the sprinkler,
she loved the feel of the water, until......
she was squirted in the eye, and by then.........
she had enough and crawled away.
Nolen & Mitchell loved jumping in the pool together, while.........
others watched. 
There were smiles, and.........
more smiles.........
hugs..........
more smiles........
and yet more smiles.
Then there was food.
Some ate, while others played.
Trevor patiently waited on his food, while....
David and D. chowed down.
Then it was rest time after eating.
Finally it was time for a few sparklers
What a fun way to end the day!!!!!!
Mike & Terry came by after church and visited awhile. We sat on the front porch and watched fireworks all around us. Nice being able to not have to fight the traffic but still enjoy the show.
