Sanford Family Christmas

This is the final post of Christmas. We had Christmas at our house for the Sanford side of the family on Friday night after Christmas. I fixed 4 different soups (potato cheese, taco soup, 3 cheese tortellini, and White Chicken Chili) the rest of the gang brought stuff for sandwiches and desserts. After eating they went up to the bonus room and opened presents.

Getting ready to put the final tightening on it, so there are no leaks. My sink installed after my two plumbers got through. Thanks, Craig and Trevor This may be a new member of our family. She wondered up about 2 weeks ago. I have been calling her Bailey. Very sweet dog. Not sure what it is, maybe between a mix border collie or Long Hair Austrailian Shepherd. Her tail is bobbed off.

Christmas morning

Christmas morning we go to my mom and dad's for the annual yummy Christmas breakfast. Always delicious, ham, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, hashbrowns and fruit. Cracker Barrel doesn't have anything on mom. It was very different this year without Jeremy being there. For years it has been Buddy's tradition to throw Jeremy a biscuit across the table to him. I'll never forget the first year Buddy did that. I would have given a million bucks for the look on Cande's face. I know it was a hard Christmas for Barry and Cande with him not being here this time of year. They did get a phone call from him Christmas morning. But I don't think that helped much, because he was having a rough time the first few weeks. They have since received a letter from him and he is getting use to things. It is still going to be tough on him, but he is a strong young man and will persevere. We miss you Jeremy. After breakfast, presents are opened. Once again I'm so thankful to still have my family all living close by.

Christmas at Grandma's and Papaw's

I'm going to do Christmas in 3 different posts. Just way too many pics to download at one time. So I will do them throughout the week. We had Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve. For dinner we had salad & baked spaghetti. Then we opened presents, after attempting family photos. The boys all got several toys. Nolen liked his monster truck and the indy car you put together. Mitchell liked his back hoe the best. Trevor could have cared less. As long as he had some candy to eat and a pool ball in his hand he was happy. I got a new watch, Jamie made me a book with family pics in it. The boys & Buddy got me a kitchen sink and faucet and a http://www.crock-pot.com/Trio.aspx which is very cool. I used it when we had our Christmas with the Sanford family on Friday, but more about that later. Buddy bought himself a remote control Monster Truck. His plans are to turn our no longer garden into a monster truck dirt track. It was a great Christmas and more will be posted later.
