We had been here before, 20 years ago, but that was before digital cameras and social media and all that stuff that we can share. It wasn't a real good day, because of the haze, but still amazing Buddy used our good zoom camera to take pics and I was doing wide shots. These are some he took. We really got there at a bad time of day. The best time to see the canyon is early morning or late afternoon to get good pictures. I will post the ones I took in Part 2. And like most people say, pictures just don't do it justice,
