Little River Steam Engine

Today we had a short drive to the Little River Steam Engine ride on train in Coldwater, Michigan. We were there about 2 hours early, so we took a few pictures at the station.

We then went to a park that was close by that had a lot of geese & ducks. All we had at first was a can of pizza flavored Pringles and they liked them.

Buddy ran down to a store and bought 4 loaves of bread to feed  them. They were coming from all directions.

Finally it was time for the train ride. This is the men fueling up the engine.

Before we boarded, they let the boys on the caboose.

 Just before we boarded
We road in the cattle car, because it was more open.

After the ride, we went into a store that had a very large train set that was running. It was all set up in Christmas scene. Wish I had a picture of how big it really was.
After leaving Coldwater, MI we were headed to Dearborn and spotted this antique store and just had to stop for Nolen. He loves antique stores. It was huge and didn't think we would get Nolen out, but he came out with a license plate and that was all.
About halfway to Dearborn we passed Michigan Speedway.

After getting to our hotel we went to eat at Chili's and then the boys swam for awhile. This hotel has DVD player and they have free movies you can watch. They are watching an old Herbie movie.
