New England Trip-Day 2

We left Wytheville this morning and drove across VA on Hwy 58. It was a fairly curvy road, which Buddy & the Pony really like. It was very foggy when we left, so still no nice pictures of the beautiful VA hills. We stopped at Lover's Leap and got this picture, but still doesn't give it justice as to how pretty it is.
We then drove on to Martinsville and visited with the Boggs (my pastor from when I was a little girl in Bluefield) for awhile. It was great seeing them. They were long time friends of my mom and dad and they have traveled many places together. Lots of great memories for them.
After leaving there we drove on to VA Beach and knowing it was a weekend we knew we weren't going to get anywhere to stay close, so just drove down the strip. Sorry, still no pics. Tomorrow we head up the coast. First we have to go through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel, which I'm not too excited about. 23 miles of Bridge and tunnels over and under the Atlantic Ocean. We will then go on up to Deleware and cross via ferry to get to Cape May, NJ to see lighthouses. I promise lots of pictures to come tomorrow and from here on out. These past two days have just been driving to get to the coast.

I really hope you find Shelby some chocolate. Thats what she talks about everytime we talk about you being on your trip. Don't think you could manage getting Ben and Jerry's back for Mitch though. Haha Hope you have a great trip.
