Day 8 Maine Coast

We left somewhere around 8:00 this morning. It was cold and drizzly all day. Never had any hard rain, and for a lot of the day we were rain free but very heavy clouds. We have been to so many lighthouses and for taking pics, it is very dissapointing to see them on a day like this. Nothing makes a lighthouse show up like having blue sky behind them. Makes a huge difference. We have been very lucky in the years that we have traveled to have had the good weather that we had. We should see a few more lighthouses tomorrow before heading back toward home. I can't believe it is almost over.
Rockland Breakwater Light. It was almost a mile walk out to it, and it was so cold and drizzly we decided this was as close as we would get.
Fresnel lens from lighthouses that are no longer in use. This was in a museum we toured.

The next 5 pictures are of Pemaquid Point Light.
